What he said was inappropriate... don't get me wrong... but not in such bad taste that he needs to be kicked off the team.
That's my opinion only... the fact the offending tweet was deleted is good enough for me.
I know it won't be for everyone....
I know Coach Floyd must be looking at Bohannon and wondering what is going on in this young man's head... Bleed, the image below was done by placing the internet address: i22.photobucket.com/albums/b313/Realm-Fx/orange.jpg between: {img] {/img] <--- Replace '{' with '['

On another note, DAYUMN Realm! Where do you meet these wimmenzez?! Paulina never did show Friday or Saturday night. But I still had an incredible time on both nights with 2 other incredible women that I just happen to meet.
To make things clear... I am not the photographer. Someone else took the pictures. But I can verify every woman in the pictures.
The pictures I show you are not even of the best looking girls that are found out here. Most women are very suspicious of cameras and so there won't be any pictures.
But I swear to you one thing Bleed... these are the prettiest and friendliest women I've ever found anywhere.
Why aren't there clubs like this in El Paso?? I wish I had an answer for that but I don't have one. El Paso just has a different vibe from San Diego / Tijuana.

Bleed, I think this will satisfy your appetite. I picked this up from another poster(Utep2step) and I know he'd approve of me sharing this.
This recruit will light things up from inside and out next year.

You know what they say about discussing politics and religion with friends... so I won't. I'm glad the piece of shit is dead. 'Nuff said. I understand the tone... and I'm sure it is shared by everyone on this board simply because apart from Bleed... no one bothered to respond.
Bleed, that took courage to respond like you did... and I appreciate the polite response as well.
But it seems to me if we go on like we're going... we'll likely go at each other until hell freezes over.
It is more difficult to listen and understand another's point of view... when it is so much easier to pick up a gun and end the debate.
As for Realm... I prefer to make love and not war... for most of you that puts me in the minority.
I can live with that. This is Paulina from Sinaloa and hopefully I'll catch up with her on Saturday when the world will supposedly end.

The reigning NBA champions looked like they didn't want to play and bowed to Dallas 4-1.
Reminds me of Utep a year ago when they didn't look like they wanted to play against Houston in the Cusa Basketball championship because of in-team bickering.
Really nothing you can do at this point.

First Reports Indicate: 1. Bin Laden lived in a palatial residence costing over $1 million
2. Helicopters take off from Pakistani base and suggest Pakistani involvement.
3. Epic 40 minute Firefight between U.S. Seals & Bin Laden guards
4. Bin Laden was hiding behind his wife when confronted with Navy Seals.
5. Bin Laden was armed with an AK47 when he was killed
6. Bin Laden was still actively commanding the terrorist Al-Qaeda network
Revised Reports Indicate: 1. Bin Laden’s palatial estate, presented as damning evidence of Pakistani culpability, turned out to be a moldy, unairconditioned house with no internet or phone connections.
2. Helicopters take off from Afghanistan without Pakistani knowledge.
3. Epic Firefight came only from the U.S. Seals. Only one Bin Laden guard was armed and he was only able to fire off one shot before being shot dead. Firefight over in less than 30 seconds.
4. Bin Laden's wife was shot in another room while rushing the U.S. Seals to protect her husband.
5. An unarmed Bin Laden was successfully captured alive first and then summarily executed by the troops with 2 lethal shots.
6. Bin Laden was only a physical/mental shadow of his former self and was no longer capable of being a "leader" in any movement. Pakastani officials also revealed Bin Laden was "cash strapped" in his final days.
Given the myriad of inconsistencies that continue to be unearthed reminds me of 2 other pro-war patriotic deceptions – the “rescue” of Ft. Bliss' Jessica Lynch and the death of Pat Tillman.
I won't show you the dead body pictures that are circulating the internet... but here is one picture that proves there were Weapons of Mass Destruction at the house.

While many see this as a great thing... I can't help but think this is much ado about nothing... After all, the guy was already retired and living with his new wife.
The "Elite" team that killed him... supposedly, they are selected not only on physical prowess but also because of "intelligence".... and since Osama was unarmed... wouldn't it have been smarter to have taken him alive??
President Obama though... guy can kick ass.

UCONN has been a basketball powerhouse for awhile now.
Last year's Cinderella team was, of course, Butler with Gordon Hayward leading the charge.
When he left for the pros, I didn't see anyone on the team that could carry this team.
Wrong Again...
This year has been a very interesting and pleasant surprise AND I'll be pulling for Butler tonight.

First one is that Randy did improve under Floyd and was more of a team player.
2nd, Randy was expected to carry the offensive load because we were limited. Therefore there were games when it looked like he was was a gunner. Good observation here.
3rd, Realm was being hostile towards Randy because of my dislike for Coach Barbee. That is totally on me.
Apologies for my post because it wasn't warranted.

I especially think this video makes for interesting speculation in many, many different ways.
Having it photographed by a professional news photographer adds to the credibility.

I was never a fan of Culpepper... and it was because he never struck me as a team player.
The guy pouted on the bench like a spoiled, little child... he was a defensive liability... and Randy never saw a 3 point shot he wouldn't take.
A guy like that should have done a better job of meshing with the team instead of always looking to pump up his own stats.
Still, though, the guy was a walking "ESPN" Highlight Reel. I'll give him that.
And he stayed... when it looked like he could have left when Barbee skipped town. That's gotta count for something.
I truly wish him well in his future endeavors... BUT I'm looking forward to seeing a new guard at his position next year.
I feel bad about writing this post... but I felt even worse not replying and offering my opinion. Anything less AND I would know I wasn't being completely honest.

But the team has rallied and is making up for their deficiencies.

First let me apologize... been smoking Herb all this weekend.
I read MinerMan’s assessment of how this game would turn out so I decided to dress appropriately for this STINKER of a game.
Didn't help much. Awful game from the Get-Go… I was expecting more since New Mexico lost their best player… But it was Utep who looked uninspired and lackluster.
First, the team looked completely disjointed in their offense. Couldn’t get anything going. A record number of traveling calls, poor passing, poor Free Throw percentage, bad defense, turnovers galore.
Bo was a big part of this with his losing the ball one way or another and then he took a BAD shot away from the basket. A time out was called and Assistant coach Foster was chewing out Bo when Bo had enough and pushed Foster away and got in Foster’s face and let loose with some F bombs.
Coach Floyd sat Bo down for the rest of the game.
After the game, Bo tweeted that he wanted to stay because he was learning so much and was playing for the best coaches in the nation.
Is this enough to keep him at Utep?? I hope it is because he has put in a lot of work to be the best he can be.
Has an official decision been made?? Nope. Coach Floyd has not made any official statement to the effect of kicking Bo off the team. Just a quote in the E.P. Times that this kind of behavior will not be allowed to happen again.
I think the young man can learn from his mistake... and there is a lot of upside to keeping him around.
That's my take... anyone else care to chime in??

That was just a horrible effort.
Is this the remnant of Barbie's teachings that weren't exorcised by Coach Floyd??
I dunno but it must have pained Coach enough to make him wonder if the Oklahoma job was still open.

I'm sure the rebounding(specifically the lack of it) will be addressed by the Coach.
What doesn't work are players who can't / won't hustle to go get the ball.
Without Bo... the job just got tougher.

Utep shoulda / coulda / woulda... but didn't.
Got to hand it to Memphis. They remembered the pounding they got in their first game in El Paso and used that to keep them in this game when it looked like they were going to get pounded again.
Never under estimate the power of being humiliated...
Props to Memphis.
As far as the Miners... they over achieved and did very well with what they had. They should hold their heads up because they definitely put out the effort.
Coach Floyd, too, should be complimented on a GREAT SEASON.

Honestly, I think we would have swept CUSA. 16-0. OOC, I am not so sure. We would have had the same growing pains trying to learn Coach Floyd's system. Would wins over GT and BYU have propelled this same schedule to the top 10? I don't know. DC and (to a far lessor extent) Moultrie would have made this team a lot stronger. The schedule would have been the same though. I'd say we be in the top 25. Realm is supposed to be the voice of all that is negative... But with Character & Moultrie we would have been a team that could "Bring It" in so many different ways. Teams would find their match-ups problematical... Good theoretical question strelz... If not top 10... Then very close to it.

UTEP coach Tim Floyd announced the one-game suspension of freshmen Michael Perez and John Bohannon on Monday for "lack of academic performance." Perez and Bohannon did not practice with the team Monday and will not play Wednesday night when the Miners meet Marshall in the Don Haskins Center. "They are freshmen who should have figured it out by now, figured out why they are here," Floyd said. "Hopefully, this will be a learning experience for them. If not, there are a lot of young men who want to get a college education at a quality institution like UTEP, one with a good basketball program."
Bohannon, a 6-foot-10 center from the Dallas suburb of Lancaster, is averaging 5.3 points and 5.7 rebounds a game.
He has started 10 games for the Miners and scored 15 points in UTEP's win over Memphis Saturday. Perez, a 6-3 guard from Tucson, Ariz., averages 1.7 points and 0.8 assists a game. He has been the first guard off the bench but missed three games in February with an ankle injury and played only in the final minutes against Memphis due to strep throat. "I've been really proud of the precedent our seniors have set," Floyd said.
"I expect these guys to follow their example. We will continue to monitor their progress the rest of the semester and any hiccups will lead to further suspensions -- regardless if it is in the conference tournament or in postseason play. I think both Mike and Bo are good persons. But there is more to it than being a good person and a good player. - E.P. Times

If I had God like powers and could choose... Would I take the two loses and trade them for the Memphis win??
Numerically this makes sense... BUT realistically, beating Memphis this bad put a LOT OF CONFIDENCE back in the Miner psyche.
Now if we can just sustain that confidence going into the tourney.

Bleed mentioned he thought the wheels seemed to be coming off the Miner Bus.
MinerMan reminded us that ECU is a dangerous team and should NOT be overlooked with Memphis on the horizon.
I was dumbfounded that we lost ECU because they have never impressed me when I saw the team play.
I'm not sure what to think any longer.
