I LOVE you people! Thanks for the link.
I'm a UTEP alumni and live in the primitive moutains of southern New Mexico. No "over the air" TV, just radio from KFOX and 3G internet from Verizon. I was able to watch the 1st half with no problem, 2nd half was too slow. But, a big improvement from just listening to the radio.
I've been listening since the stone ages before UTEP games were broadcast on FM. I listened to static for years with glimpses of glory and I was listening when Teicher had his "microphone malfunction". Anybody remember that? I'll give you a hint, there was a very loud "F" word at the end of a lengthy technical problem. Funniest thing I have ever heard.
Thanks Teich! I'll always cherish that moment.
I watched the '66 Miners win over Kentucky on TV in El Paso. I was there for Tim Hardaway, Antonio Davis, Greg Foster and so may others. I can't even remember all their names.
I was there for the sweet 16 when Prince Stewart almost took us to the elite 8. He drove the floor and laid it up and almost in.

I was hoping this post would benefit YOU in particular but I was thinking you didn't have internet.
Really glad to hear it got you connected to this game because it was a Barn Burner.
FYI, the game feed in the 2nd half also deteriorated for me AND it was almost unwatchable... but since something is better than nothing... I stayed with it until the end.
Glad I did....
