I'm sure many of you know the answer to my question. Why isn't Gabe McCulley playing? Any chance of a red shirt? I see he has only played in the pre-season.
If I could stand to listen to Miner Talk I'm sure I'd have heard the sanitized answer.
No TV or cable here in the remote mountains of southern New Mexico. If I want to see a game I have to travel 25 miles to Applebee's.

He was injured early on in the season and Coach Barbee decided to redshirt him because he probably was not going to get much playing time when he recovered.

uncle doug brought up an interesting issue... game availability.
I will try and find out who will be showing the Utep-Marshall game and list it.

Thanks utepcip. That is good news.
So when all of these great Juniors have graduated after next year, Gabe will remain with eligibility. And he still practices with this great team. I wonder if he's been schooling with Julian and will go to the point? Probably not, but CTB likes long, lanky point guards.
