I don't see any improvement. UTEP can only beat crappy teams. Not even sure they can beat the Aggies on Saturday.

We are so Jekyll and Hyde it's maddening. We seem to be able to compete with and possibly beat anyone at home, but go on the road and Coronado High School could fucking beat us.
I see us finishing the regular season at 17-13 (best case scenario) with losses at NMSU and against Memphis, and (hopefully) beating a very mediocre Houston team at home and horrible SMU and Rice teams on the road. Of course, if we shoot the ball the way we did against Southern Miss last night, we may not even win those road games.
If we manage to stay in fourth place with a conference record of 9-7, we should draw a somewhat favorable matchup in the tournament, and possibly eek out a win before being destroyed in the second round. I'm hoping that 18 wins and a solid RPI and SOS could possibly get us a terrible seed in the shitty NIT, but the way this team has performed in the last month, ANY post-season appearance would be remarkable...
We cannot fucking score. What's worse, we couple that by an inability to get second chances on the offensive board, and a habit of picking crucial spots in games to start turning the ball over and missing free throws. Our big men play small (with the exception of Lang, but his skill set doesn't begin to match his heart) and our guards can't hit from outside. All it takes to shut us down is to collapse inside and let us build a fucking city from the perimeter. Now that teams have figured that out, we're pretty much done for unless we have a particularly lucky shooting night.
I'm so damn frustrated with this team I don't even know what to say anymore. I just hope like hell that Isaac Hamilton can be the scorer and clutch shooter we so desperately need.
