Same people just don't get it. Seems like Bo is one of those people. Looking more and more likely, he will not be on the team next year.

Coach Johnson said in the post-game interview that they went with Cedric because he was hustling his ass off, and Bo seemed to be going through the motions when he was (briefly) on the court.
I hate to say it, but if he doesn't wake da fucup this year, he just may be on the chopping block.

Good to see. We're gonna need some senior leadership on the squad next year. I hope he continues to respond to the benchings with a renewed sense of urgency to learn and improve, and not with the "I'm entitled" attitude that so many players seem to have these days. If so, he'll be okay.

Yeah, he's gone next year. Hasn't learned a damn thing or lifted a single weight since his freshman year. What a waste.

Doubt we will see CJ Cooper back next year either.

Coach Johnson came on the radio and addressed why Bo didn't play in the game
He said that Bo is a good kid BUT needs to buy into what the coaches want done in both games and in practice. He says Bo understands that he should be a leader BUT Bo has ebbs and flows.I'm sure his poor showing during the UAB game is forcing the coaches to take a firmer stance with Bo.
When he wants to play... he can be an exciting player.

While we're on the subject, who do you guys think will be gone next year to make room for all the amazing recruits we have coming in?
My friends and I have narrowed it down to Malcolm Moore, Hooper Vint, Bohannon (if he doesn't change his ways), Jalen Ragland (I hope not), and Cooper (again, I hope not). What do you think?

I think Bohannon and Cooper are goners for sure. Never know with Floyd though, we'll see.

...and the roller coaster ride that is the John Bohannon show climbs the hill yet again.
Bo only played about ten minutes in the Rice game last night, but played outstandingly. He was aggressive on the boards, took good shots and made them, played great defense, and looked every bit like a junior playing for Tim Floyd should. The question, of course, is whether he will screw up and get benched again before he can build on his performance.
And the other player in question, CJ Cooper, could easily have been named MVP. The entire team played very well, building an 18 point lead about midway through the second half; but when we took our foot off the gas and let Rice climb back within eight, Cooper coolly hit three treys in the last five minutes to maintain the cushion and close out the game. He played great defense all night, made clutch shots, and proved that he deserves a spot on the roster next year.
I'm really excited about the new talent coming in, but I really hate to lose anyone from this year's team, Bo included. It will be very interesting to see how it all shakes up.

Okay, last post on this topic because I'm sick of this ride...
John Bohannon, yet again, was benched for the entire Tulsa game last night. And that was one of many reasons why we lost to them for the second time. Cedric Lang and Chris Washburn didn't play very well, especially their 5-12 performance from the free throw line, and we desperately needed some inside scoring and defense that Bo could have provided. (We also SUCKED on the defensive end, allowing drive after drive and committing stupid fouls once we let them get to the hoop. But I digress...)
Instead, the only role Bohannon played was apparently saying something in one of the time out huddles that sent Floyd into orbit. The whole crowd watched open-mouthed as a beet-red Floyd ripped Bo's head off and crapped down his neck before storming away, then going BACK to him and screaming in his face for another awkward moment while he skulked on the bench.
We'll never know what was said, but the message is clear. He is g-o-n-e GONE next year.
