Cusa is a ONE-BID conference...
But if they make it through...
They are good....real good... should draw a 6-10 seed and should advance. This team has lost only close games and won a bunch too. The fact that they are never blown out is because they play defense and they get the ball into the paint and score and get to the line. They can get to the sweet 16 but let's see if they can avoid playing a 1 or 2 in the second round. Not that they cannot beat a one or a two, but let's see the match up first.
So Realm will wait until the end of the season... then decide if he plucks down some Green.

They belong regardless. I think the bracketology that I looked at took two from Conference USA. To be safe they should advance to the final to get in. An early stumble and they will be nervous on March 7. They belong in the tournament. The problem is about 12 to 14 entrants don't belong, but that is life.

realm up late drinking who knows what and talking to his bookie who was booked into the county hotel room on many occasions...miners will be in the big dance and the close win wednesday night shows why--they beat a hot team on their home floor--a damn good win. my prediction is a 9th. seed and a chance if the play good defense and don't get wild late in the game, on to the sweet "16". hey realm what does your bookie say about next years miners? no seniors this year![glow=red,2,300][/glow]

In a fair scenario, CUSA is a three bid conference this year. Things aren't fair though. Conference tournaments aside, the best 65 teams don't go to the dance.

Two would be fair to CUSA. Who is your third team, Memphis? Their two best non-conference wins are over Oakland and IUPUI. They did play Kansas tough though, but they also lost to SMU and Houston. There is no way CUSA will get or deserves 3.

I think Memphis gets in. In the real world, with power conferences, rpi etc, no - they don't get in.
