Yesterday was the start of the early signing period for basketball. I am not hearing much about what we have coming in. Any body out there know what coach Floyd has in store for us?

I am not a big fan of Miner Illustrated breaking news stories only to post everything on a paid account. This isn't 1995 anymore. I understand they are trying to make money but you have to be more innovative than that. On twitter, someone not named Isaac Hamilton, tweeted he committed to UTEP. I was not familiar with the name.

I wouldn't say nothing. He interacts with Miner fans and acknowledges the attention he has been receiving from us.

Don't know if you guys have already heard, but Isaac Hamilton DID COMMIT TO UTEP!! He's rated top 20 in most recruiting circles, and is considered one of the best pure scoring guards in the country! HUGE signing for Timmy and the Miners!!
And even better news... apparently he has a younger brother who is also a top 50 player, and they were considered a package deal... could we possibly be looking at the Washburn brothers and the Hamilton brothers on the court together?
I can't recall the last time UTEP signed a 5-star player. If things continue like this, we could replace Memphis as the Big Dog of CUSA when they bolt for the Big East.
