You know the haps at Digs. Why did Billy Floyd and cips get the boot? Funny how the posters there are calling out us so-called trolls, but we're not even allowed on the board to give the team credit. As you can see here, all of us are handing out props because the guys have earned it, just like we always said before getting the axe on Digs. I'm very interested to see a response...

I agree. If we were still allowed to post there, we wouldn't be bitching about the basketball team. They are pussies that want to suck up to UTEP and Bob Stull. The football team still sucks and CMP is a fucking bonafied loser.

It took guts for him to post here... especially since he is a mod at Digs.

Strelz, they are talking about minerdigs.net. It's a UTEP fan site on the Rivals network. It's a poorly run site that has moderators that will ban you if you consistently rail against the athletic department. I've not been banned there but most of the posters on this board have because they have been critical of the athletic department. They have a couple of writers there but they charge a fee for you to be able to access "premium" content. The problem is that 75% of the people who go to that site do not subscribe because the updates are slow and usually you will be reading something a week old.

That is a good question, I don't know what happened on any bannings.
I never understood the constant bashing on UTEP, why waste your time doing something so negative? I've ranted about the Miners. but I never fealt that I had to always do it... that is the ONE aspect I don't get on some posters.
well for the record Doug, we write something every tues, and fri night, when there is a game.
By the way, I think you guys are doing a good job over here. different tone, than when some of you posted in Digs.

The reason why posts are "negative" is because the football team sucks and their coach is past his prime. The football team sucks and the program just continues to suffer with CMP at the helm. Season tickets are not going to sell this year. 4 straight losing seasons and a poor home schedule are not going to make UTEP any money. I have constantly bashed the football program over the last 4 years, not because I hate Mike Price, I just hate the way he coaches and runs the program. UTEP football can't even compete in CUSA and CUSA is barely above the MAC and SBC. MinerDigs sucks. Who wants to read stories by 2 amateur writers and have to pay for it?  At least back in the day, Darren Hunt ran the site and he wrote for the EP Times. That is, until the UTEP Athletic Department had him taken off for being "too negative" |

just checked out minerdigs.net...a site evidently controlled by utep's sports information department...I need to say this right now--price is over the hill and needs to go spend sports illustrated's money...bob stull sucks and jon teicher is a cheerleader who is afraid to say anything negative about utep sports...other than that I am having a nice day

Teicher works for UTEP, he can't really say much... I agree, he doesn't answer the hard questions and gets mad really easy... I do enjoy his play calling, it's great.
