Now that the park is going to happen, what are your thoughts? Will the city be crushed by the massive financial burden, or will things work out as planned?
I'll do what I can to support the team and go to as many games as I'm able, but that being said, I'm just worried about another ginormous property tax hike to pay this thing off...

As long as the hotel occupancy tax passes in November, the ballpark will be paid for by mostly out of towners. Glad it passed and El Paso is getting this team.

The thing is, City Hall was moving regardless. Now Joyce Wilson gets to use the baseball franchise as a reason to get it done quicker. We were going to pay for new buildings and relocated City Hall w/ or w/out baseball.
