Does anyone really expect us to win? I don't. Hopefully the Miners give a solid effort. Also, the game is on tv, just a little hard to find. If you have a satellite, you should be okay.

I know, I know, morale victories are worthless. We never get over the hump. Etc Etc. I know.
Still, we didn't get blown out of the water in the last two games. We were somewhat still in the game in the fourth quarter. They weren't playing the water boy and the third string. We played with the big boys - but yet- we lost.
Price is gone at the end of the season. Why be shitheads until then. Lets see what we do against NMSUx. One more body bag game and it's on to conference play where we start at 0-0.
It's a great day to be a Miner fan!

Mistabinks, how are any of the few posters here being shitheads? You might not agree with the way MinerMan presents his posts, but most of the time they are on point. You can't deny that. This place is not rah-rah central. Why would it be? UTEP football/basketball hasn't accomplished much in a long time.

I didn't call anyone a shithead. I was talking about an attitude going forward. I recommended that we enjoy the ride since we pretty much know Price's fate at the end of the season. As far as any Miner fan posting online, I don't think you can say anyone is usually on point. We are posting from emotion, including Miner Man.

Although the first two games were much more competitive than I would ever have predicted, I'm afraid I have to stick with my original prognostication: 4-8 and no bowl. I just have zero faith in Price and his staff to prevent another mid- to late-season collapse, and this year we don't have any creampuff wins at the beginning of the year to pad our record.
But I really and sincerely hope I'm wrong.
