I'm looking forward to this game on Saturday.
Tulsa's looking for some "officiating" payback... and also any chance Tulsa can use to muddy up Utep's chances of getting an NCAA automatic bid because they won the regular season --will be accomplished by winning this game.
This will also give Tulsa some momentum and confidence going into the Cusa tournament.
Shoud be INTENSE...
My prediction... if the game is low-scoring then Tulsa takes it... otherwise it is Utep's to win...
Tulsa 60 - Utep 55

I'm a brash poster... but I know better than to get into it with an icon. Especially one who may know what he is talking about... BUT 14 POINTS !!

This game is super important for both UTEP and CUSA. Tulsa is no longer an NCAA at-large contender and UTEP/CUSA can not afford a UTEP loss. Hopefully Randy will have a hot hand . Scoring 40+ against UCF and ECU is great, but imagine if he can do it in a meaningful game.
UTEP 70 Tulsa 65

I'd like to see a closer race when UTEP plays So Miss next week. Therefore I will predict Tulsa to win 57 to 56. Go Gold

Right now, and for this season, EVERY game UTEP plays is a meaningful game. So whether its UCF, Tulsa, Tulane whomever, I'll take 40 + points from RC. As for my prediction, this game is even more dangerous than I thought it would be a week ago. Tulsa has looked like crap lately so this worries me in terms of the Miners mentality and them becoming over-confident. If they take this game seriously, they should have little problems coming out of Oklahoma with a victory.
UTEP- 68 Tulsa 60

Realm and I had a little discussion in another thread about the officiating in the first UTEP-Tulsa game. This was the flip side of the UTEP-Tulsa game in El Paso as Tulsa got a lot of favorable calls today. Unlike Tulsa in El Paso, UTEP didn't fold in Tulsa. The second half wasn't pretty but they kept the lead and got the win. There is no reason to breakdown when the calls don't go your way.

I just woke up and was expecting to catch the game in another hour... ONLY to find out it already finished !!
I expected the officiating to get one sided... but PROPS to Utep. They played through it.
Realm can't argue with Mr. Mista... you were right... Realm was DEAD WRONG.
I really hate that !!

Realm can't argue with Mr. Mista... you were right... Realm was DEAD WRONG. I wouldn't say you were wrong about anything. You had your opinions about the officiating in the El Paso game. I had my opinions about what would happen if the situation was reversed. Its all good as the Miners got a victory on the road.
