Hope all you guys have a fun and safe new year. Heres hoping the basketball continues to improve. I think the NCAA and NIT tournaments are out of reach, but we may be able to steal the automatic bid in the conference tournament. If not winning the CBI or CIT should be our goal.

The football program sucks and Stull is only prolonging its suckiness longer by deciding to keep Price. Hope the football season comes and goes quickly.

First off, I'd like to wish a very happy, safe and healthy New Year to everyone on this board, as well as their families!!

Best of luck to the basketball team the rest of the way. They still look like a bunch of freshmen at times, but overall I'm very impressed with how quickly they have come together and matured, and very excited to see what they can achieve this year. And then next year... watch out CUSA!

As for the football team, I hope they somehow, some way, turn the corner and show the same fight at the end of the season as they usually do the beginning. I saw Mike Price at Leo's mexican restaurant Friday night, and just waved and said, "Hey, Coach" as he passed by. He stopped walking, came over to our table, shook hands with my whole family, and wished us a happy new year. He even turned and waved to us one last time as he was leaving a little later.

I know his teams have had a tendency to save their worst football for the end of games and the end of seasons, but damn if he isn't one of the nicest guys on the planet. I know we all (myself included) want a new coach to come in and breathe new life into this program, but I still can't say enough good things about Mike Price the person. I wish him all the success in the world in 2012, and hope against hope we can see better results than in the past few years.
