Washington State will hire Mike Leach...he will turn that program around for the better. UTEP sticks with MP and goes nowhere.

Thats what happens when you sit and wait. Kind of like shopping for Christmas gifts on Christmas Eve. UTEP will be lucky to have a Bob Davie type hire when they get around to firing Price.

The departed Wulff was making $600K a year.. I'm imagining Leach will get in excess of 1 mill
How does a college with a small stadium... 35K... afford such a salary??
I imagine they have a financially laden fan base.
Leach would have been one of top 2 choices... Along with Robert Rodriguez.

The new Pac 12 tv contract allowed Washington St to fire Wulff and get Mike Leach. UTEP will never be in that position. The gap between the haves and the havenots is going to be even wider now
