Urban Meyer was hired as head coach today at Ohio St. I went and looked at his bio and he was the head coach at Bowling Green, but before he was an assistant coach somewhere. What the hell was Bowling Green thinking, hiring the WR coach at Notre Dame? Didn't they knew they could have ended up like New Mexico?
At one point, Urban Meyer, Nick Saban, Bob Stoops, Bill Belichick, Joe Paterno, Andy Reid, and every other fucking football coach was an assistant at one time. At one point in their careers, somebody gave them a chance as head coach. I think it is pathetic that some Miner fans don't want to make a change and have a "Mike Locksley", well maybe we will, but we probably won't. That kind of chicken shit attitude makes me sick. Mike Price has had 6 straight losing seasons and they all included the same damn errors and November collapses every year. A change is needed!
