Floyd lands two more future stars

Don't know if this was already public knowledge, but Tim Floyd is already putting together a loaded team for next year.

We just signed 4-star center Chris Washburn, younger brother of freshman Julian Washburn, who chose us over schools including Arkansas and Georgetown.

Also signed was Twymond Howard, a 4-star forward from Mississippi.

Finally, we signed Dustin Watts, a 6'4" guard from Seattle, who is described as a legitimate point guard and great defender. Julyan Stone light, perhaps?

All three are considered amazing recruits and will add firepower to an already impressive freshman class from this year. Once we get over the learning curve, the future looks golden!!

Yeah, I've seen that, but I will wait until they suit up and play for UTEP before I get excited. Seen a lot of guys never play at the school they committed too. Hope they come here and play.

I'm worried about Howard, but at least he's signed and not just "verbally committed."

As for Chris Washburn, he chose us primarily because he wants to play with his brother. We keep Julian, we get 'lil bro.

January has made a verbal agreement. In other words, he's agreed to sign with us until a better offer comes along, and then he'll likely give us a stiffarm and run somewhere else.

The three I mentioned inked a LOI, so they'd have to be released in order to go anywhere else.
