Really dont know what to think about this game. I remember when the Aggies had upset a Top 25 Arizona St team the week before the I10 game and everyone thought the Aggies would roll us. UTEP kicked their ass and both teams ended up having their usual poor seasons. Aggies on cloud 9 after their win last week.

If CMP prepared this team (highly unlikely), the Miners have a shot to squeak one out. I think NMSU will win it, but I could see the Miners blowinh them out too.

Well, we squeaked it out... my question is, HOW THE HOLY HELL DO YOU FUMBLE THE BALL ON A KNEEL-DOWN TO KILL THE CLOCK?!?! That would have been one of the all-time great blunders, on par with the Miracle in the Meadowlands...

It almost seemed that neither team wanted the win, but they wanted it thaaaaaaat much less...

After all, Utep's touchdown was the result of a 60 yard gain on a Fake Punt with 7 yards to go on the Utep 29 yard line.

If we had missed... this would have been a 14 point turnaround.
