Who will be team number 14? If the SEC invites another or 3 more Big 12 teams, what happens to the Big 12? Reports are that the B12 will stay at 9, but they could look at Houston,BYU, and Louisville. If Houston gets a B12 or Big East invite who do we replace them with? UNT? UTSA? LaTech? Would that make a possible MWC invite more appealing?

A&M will become a door-mat in the SEC...they may spite the Longhorns by this move but the worse team in the SEC will beat the Aggies...

Their basketball program should do well in the SEC, but their football team hasn't done shit in a long time. I dont see the TAMU football team doing any better in the SEC for awhile.

That still amazes me... the fact that Billie Gillispie single-handedly turned the putrid A&M hoops team into such a perennial winner that you're talking about the basketball program being more successful than football. (I know that's off-topic, but I just had to comment on that.)
As for us joining the MWC, I think it's a match made in heaven given the old rivalries, but for some reason those bastards just don't want us. I'm STILL pissed that we weren't part of the group that seceded from the WAC to form that conference.

Here's a different take on the conference realignment, from an article on College Football News. UTEP in the Big 12? If this guy's scenario happens, it should be renamed the Lone Star Conference or something. cfn.scout.com/2/1095334.html

Since it was TA&M that went looking for an SEC partnership and was jilted at the last minute...
How will TA&M be received by the B12 now...
How embarassing for the snobs at College Station...

Yeah pretty funny, they got "left at the alter", but I don't think this will be the last time we hear about TAMU to the SEC.
