6'7'' cameron forte according to arizona preps was being sought by UTEP but he committed to texas tech last night...read the reports about this late bloomer...he is a terrific find...too bad we lost out to BG

I fear Coach Billy Gillispie is making his mark and has made it that much harder for Floyd / Utep to grab good players...
Good thing we're not playing each other(even though I think it would be a GREAT idea with a LOT of fan interest).
You gotta hand it to Texas Tech... they don't lose a step in either Basketball OR Football.
Football Head Coach Leach has to be let go... Coach Tommy Tuberville steps right in.
Coach Pat Knight can't coach at the level of his dad... in comes Coach Billy Gillispie.
Sigh... why isn't El Paso setting the pace like Texas Tech??
Surely there are avenues of revenue that haven't been explored yet...

At least we have a coach now that won't leave us when a bcs school comes calling (hopefully). When this years football team crashes and burns, maybe then Bob Stull will fire Price so we can care about football again.

I'm SO glad Gillispie ended up at TT instead of Houston; we're still gonna lose recruits to him, but at least it's not a conference foe.
Damn you, Billy Gillispie!! Why couldn't you stay at Kentucky where you didn't affect us at all?!
