UTEP having a different colored field would bring attention to our schools horrible football program. Instead of being known for having bad teams over the years, why not be known as the school with the orange field. Obviously, what UTEP has tried in the past hasn't worked. Why not try something different? Why not take a "bold" step into becoming a household name?
You might not know anything about Eastern Washington, but I bet you now know that they have a red fucking field. They also won the FCS championship last year. UTEP needs to borrow ideas or come up with some other kind of gimmick to get players to the school. Mike Price and his staff aren't doing the job.
