I don't get it, yet you post on how SMU won the west and seemed mighty excited... I'll be in ABQ and driving back to see the BB game, pending something comes up in ABQ like more gambling  |

Maybe to Rivals this is a stinker. Good for them. I may or may not make the trip. Regardless, a short drive, against an old rival. That is good for us. We don't have to be followers to rivals' opinion.

As of today, E.P. Times is reporting that ONLY 2,000 of Utep's allotment of 10,000 tickets have been sold so far.
Well... still have 9 days to go... BUT I DON'T THINK THERE IS ANY INTEREST OUT THERE.
Calling all Fair Weather fans... Bandwagonners... Curiousity seekers... we'll take you now.

That is a skewed statement. If you check the boards, a lot of Miner fans are not buying their tickets from UTEP. I have no idea how many El Pasoans are going to the bowl but a lot of them bought their tickets from other sources.

Realm... UTEP will have a good showing at the NM Bowl, but if UTEP wanted fans to buy tickets from them, why didn't they say that? I never once heard that tickets would be on sale on XXXX. Fans bought straight from the NM Bowl. If UTEP doesn't sale their allotment, they can only blame themselves. |
