It would be great for a sell-out. Hope the Miners dont blow it like last year. UTEP needs to win this game if they want to start building a NCAA Tourney resume.

The Haskins Center was a-rockin with an officially announced attendance of 11,792.
Utep took this came fairly easily despite being heavily out-rebounded by New Mexico State 44 to 24. That is pretty impressive.
If we were looking for a positive sign that things are looking UP for the Miners... we got one.

LOL, now I will play the realist role. I'm glad we won. I worry what happens when we are not red hot from the 3 point line. I loved our defense. I loved most of our offense. I still worry. We got no inside game. Can good coaching and great defense win games against bigger and more talented teams? I hope so! I want nothing more than to get two wins over Memphis this year. One at home and one in the tournament (also at home).
