Miners dominating Mercer right now. It's a shame that they couldn't beat Pacific. The city went all out for the Miners, and UTEP failed to deliver. Hopefully they'll get some good crowds this season, but we know how El Paso is.
I'm listening to the game right now and it sounds like there is a small crowd. Why have a noon Sunday game? UTEP just doesn't get to seem to pay attention to its fans or even care for that matter.

it's part of the Legends classic tournament. No season or student tickets for this game... the NMSU game should have a nice crowd. I agree they should of beat Pacific, the Tigers should be decent but still...

Why the excuses? Don't you think UTEP should be able to get more than 2,500 fans to a game without season ticket holders or students? If UTEP had scheduled the game better, they would have more fans at that game and the WCU game too.

Not excuses. Just reasons. Season ticket holders not showing up puts a huge dent into attendance. Should they have showed up and bought a ticket? I say yes. But that is a solid reason for the low turnout.
