At least in football. I think our basketball team won't feel any threat from UTSA and TSU, but football is another story. UTSA and TSU are located in "better" cities and by playing the "weaker" WAC they have a chance to start winning faster. UTSA will play in the Alamodome, and I doubt they can fill it, but its still a good facility. The chance to play right away, in San Antonio will definitely hurt UTEP recruiting. Same goes for Texas State. Being outside of Austin, helps a lot.
Hopefully UTEP will do the right thing and show Price the door so we don't fall behind those 2 schools.

UTSA is the team that has my interest. Just how quickly will they catch on fire with a Coach like Larry Coker??
Coach Coker had an outstanding record at the Univ of Miami... and I think that will translate well on a new football program.
UTSA displayed incredible commitment with this hire AND I look forward to the possibility of some games with the new kids in the WAC.
