Attendance woes, Team woes… and the BOYCOTT

Attendance at the Sun Bowl thus far has averaged 30,602.

If tomorrow’s game against SMU attracts less than 27K… then for a 2nd straight year Utep will pull in less than 30K per game in attendance.

The last game of 2009 averaged around 18K… and Realm is looking for an average around 19K for this year.

I think it is important that fans BOYCOTT this game and reaffirm to the administration that a new coaching direction is needed.

I admire Mistabinks for being a "true fan", but I think boycotting this game means you really give a crap and you want to see a change. Why continue to put up with a crappy product? If you go to a restaurant and they continuously mess up your order and give bad service, do you keep going back? Hell no! Same principle here. UTEP athletics is a business and they're in it to make money, just like a restaurant.

Is it fair to the student athletes? No, but is it fair to the employees of the business you boycott because of bad service?

Mike Price sucks. Hope Stull likes having <20,000 for his games, its going to be that way as long as Price is our coach.
