Attendance issues

Some people think 30,000 for our games is something to be upset about. UTEP is lucky to get 30,000 for any of its games. 4 straight losing seasons and the awful teams that are on this years schedule have more to do with it than anything.

The tailgating rules and ticket prices haven't done anything to help. Now the bandwagon fans don't want to see UTEP play horrible CUSA teams. Fans see what has happened with Utah, TCU, Boise, and other successful teams. Those teams don't lose to shitty teams like Tulane, UAB, and Rice.

Ark Pine Bluff is a bigger concern, in my opinon. Conference games still matter and I tend to believe most Miner fans care about those. The MWC in two years is not going to look any better than CUSA. As far as travel, we can either drive far to west, or drive far to east, but Miner fans have a lot of travel ahead of them if they want to attend away games, whether we are in a western conference or remain in CUSA.
