So UTEP is 4-1

Ok yes, 4-1 is better than being 1-4, but UTEP still hasn't done anything to earn any respect. We beat Memphis by 3 at home and Tulsa turns around and crushes them by 41 on the road. UNM is a horrible team and we only beat them by 18.

Like I said, we could be 1-4, but we're 4-1. I'm not complaining, just saying that UTEP has a long way to go before I believe this is a good football team and worthy of praise. Only 2 more wins and UTEP will go to a bowl game. If UTEP loses to Rice this Saturday, it will show me that this team still is a long way from being worth a damn.

I agree, if UTEP loses to Rice for the 5th straight time, 4-2 just got real crappy. They need to beat the Owls no question about it. They also need to handle Tulane. Thats 6 wins. I think it will be 7-5 or 8-4. Yes, they've beaten crappy teams, but in years past... those same teams beat UTEP. a win over Tulsa, SMU, or Marshall would be signature and impressive and perhaps a good sign... It's gonna be tough to beat any of those teams, but if UTEP clicks on all cylinders they can do it. Aside from ARK everyone else can be beat.

I was afraid from the title of the post... that this would be another US vs THEM point of view post.

Didn't turn out that way... very nice to see it.

New Mexico was horrible and I left the King's X early in the 4th quarter.

I'm not a regular at King's X but that place looked like it was on the verge of breaking out into a full-blown fight.

If it wasn't for the slutty lookin' women in there... Realm would have left the place in the 3rd quarter.

it's not the greatest place to watch a game but it's not too bad. It does need to be updated. Go 5-1 Miners! Please, it would be ugly for the Miners to be 0-5 against Rice.
