Realm sees this as a positive for both sides. Barbee is concentrating on bringing in a stellar Auburn recruiting class AND needs a familliar staff that has been working with him the past 4 years.
Kinda surprised Dickey didn't go with his brother at Univ of Houston.
As for Coach Floyd... he'll want to bring in his own players who will fit HIS style of play.
Of the 4 players that we originally had committed to Utep(under Barbee)... we've already lost two of them(Sterns and Curry).
The prized recruit Bohannon appears to still be heading to Utep... but I imagine there is a lot of jockeying going on for him in the background.
Combine that with the uncertainty surrounding Arnette Moultrie... and the behind-the-scenes jockeying to get him to leave Utep(for Auburn?).
With a team that will be almost ALL seniors next year... that puts a lot of pressure on Floyd to fill in those cracks in a hurry. He needs to get his assistants picked as soon as possible.
As you can see... Barbee's problem has quickly become Floyd's problem.
The assistants Floyd chooses will probably be tied to players that they have a solid lead on.
The next couple of months should be very telling...
