I know he retracted his verbal commitment to us and was reclassified to 2013, but did he completely blow us off this year? He is supposedly turning into a damn good player. Sucks that we seem to have lost the renewed recruiting war.... anyone heard anything at all?

So he's in basketball limbo until his grades allow him to enroll somewhere? Does that mean we still have a shot at him, or have we given up on him entirely? (I guess giving a scholarship to a player who can't stay on the court is rather pointless... he would just be another 4-star gem in next year's recruiting class.)

I wouldn't count on it BO. Doubt he ever plays college ball. If you have trouble passing high school, not going to do well in college.

Very true. But we can all agree that a lot of college athletes don't exactly major in Biochemical Engineering... I took a basic grammar class with half of the football team (needed one last elective to graduate) and somehow they all passed even though they couldn't identify the verb in the sentence, "The cat ran up the tree."
Not a knock on all athletes, but we know how it works a lot of the time......
