According to the EP Times, Bohannon was sitting out two games for disciplinary reasons dating back to his little tantrum at the end of the New Mexico game last season. He has been practicing with the team and has handled his punishment with maturity. Hopefully he has his head on straight and can come in and contribute a ton for this very young team.
Gabe McCulley has been rehabbing after surgery for a stress fracture in his leg, and will not be available until sometime in December, but has been on the stationary bike and has some mobility already. Speedy recovery, Gabe... WE NEED YOU!!
As for our next opponent this Friday night, we face a very talented UT-San Antonio team that (of course!) returns four of their top five players from a squad that won the Southland Conference and went to the NCAA Tourney last year. I hate to say it, but don't be surprised if we lose this one... hopefully we can get much better really fast and put up a good fight. I'll try to post a brief game summary this weekend.
BTW.... just as a measuring stick, NMSU destroyed Eastern New Mexico 115-64. Looks like the Aggies will definitely avenge the losses we've laid on them the past few years... it's gonna be ugly.

I think this team will be lucky to break double digits in the win column this year. Wouldnt be surprised if we lost to UTSA either. Too many newcomers.
