Tulane is going to fire Bob Toledo today. Does anyone know the last time a coach got fired after losing to UTEP?

Did anyone see the crowd at the game this past Saturday?   That is horrible. What a depressing site. Why would anybody choose to play at Tulane? |

That's truly sad. I hate to see that lack of support happen to any college team. (Except maybe nmsu.)  And somebody tell me why Tulane is being mentioned as a candidate to join another conference and we're not? As far as the coach getting the boot, I guess getting demolished by UTEP is the last straw. I can hear the campus president now... "UTEP? Freakin' UTEP?? YOAH FAYAHD!" |

Tulane was only mentioned as a Big 12 candidate because of their location, but as you can see, it won't do them any good. Nobody goes to Tulane games and I'm sure their tv ratings are just as bad. They haven't recovered from Katrina and their next head coaching hire will show how committed they are to the football program.
