The big dance gets 11 Big East teams and the rest of the teams suffer...Georgetown, Villanova, Louisville and St. Johns all lost in the first round...couldn't happen to a better league...Big East gets fat playing one-another

Makes me wonder how UTEP, Memphis or UAB would fare if they played in that conference... would we have finished seventh or eighth and gone to the dance? Amazing how nobody knows how good C-USA really is because they never pay us any attention, yet they bash us when we get TWO teams in. Damn I wish UAB and Memphis could have at least won their openers!

Kind of wild that you don't even have to shoot for a top ten finish in the BE to get to the dance. I understand the overall basketball quality might be higher in the BE but an 11th place team making it in to the dance? C'mon.

With BYU kicking off their best rebounding player due to honor code violations(having sex with his girlfriend)... I thought they were finished.
But the team has rallied and is making up for their deficiencies.
Yesterday, Jimmer Fredette scores 34 against a very SOLID Gonzaga team !!
This Fredette kid is money in the bank...

Fredette is jaw-dropping AWESOME. One of the best pure shooters I have ever seen. (On the negative side, he's a total black hole who jacks up shots out of triple-teams, but hey, he freakin' MAKES 'em...)
It makes me all cold and dead inside to think that the hated BYU Cougars may actually be in the running for a national title..... *shudder*
