Here's the way I see this so-called expansion process going. Texas, Missouri, and Notre Dame to the Big 10. TCU and Colorado St to the Big 12. UTEP and San Diego St to the Pac-10. Louisiana Tech to CUSA. The 6 remaining MWC teams and 8 WAC teams form a 14 team league that will rival the new Big 10.

Interesting FIRST POST.... interesting poster name as well.
Every rumor sounds crazy at first... but one thing for sure... Utep is not appearing on anyone's WISH List...
How will things shake out for Utep when everything is ALL SAID AND DONE??
Depends on who is whispering in your ear...

Sadly, it sounds like UTEP is 3rd or 4th (at best) on everyone's list.

Some great teams come from weak conferences. Most recently, Butler basketball from the Horizon. A couple of years ago it was Memphis basketball from the C-USA. Boise State football from the WAC.
UTEP's gonna have to do the same and have some football success in order to find a better home down the road. In the mean time we're gonna have to settle for the GOK Conference (God Only Knows). Unfortunately, our fate is not in our hands. We can only hope for good luck.

Please explain how this can possibly work.

Mike Price and Tim Floyd are building winners baby, we just need to go and support them. No matter what.
