I'll have to wait until the schedule is released. If Tim Floyd fills up the non-con schedule with pansies like Haskins did, then this team has a chance. There is no way UTEP wins the CUSA Tournament next year, in El Paso or not. Memphis is going to be loaded. Memphis goes 19-0 in CUSA next year. |

However I will agree that:
Utep will be consistent...
Utep will play together as a team...
Utep will have a plan and be prepared (Floyd is an excellent X and O's coach)...
Utep will demonstrate a marketly improved defense under Floyd...
HOWEVER, I agree with MinerMan because I don't think we'll return to the promised NCAA land next year...
Therefore... Realm will take strelz bet... and to make things more sporting... Realm will give strelz 2 to 1 odds on:
1. number of wins - 26 wins in 2009. $1 bet
2. better FG% shooting - ?unknown at moment. $1 bet
3. better FT% shooting - ?unknown at moment. $1 bet
4. Points allowed by other team -?unknown at moment. $1 bet
5. winning 2010 CUSA tournament. $1 bet
All bets are to be paid if we ever meet... and if we remember what the bets were all about.
