Big East on the verge of collapse?

Just a word to Memphis before they leave CUSA for greener pastures: HAH!

It appears the Big East is in Big Trouble, as several schools are trying to leave the conference.

Not sure if this affects UTEP at all, but the possibility of Boise and SDSU remaining in the MWC could hinder any chance we had of trying to join. Your thoughts, guys?

The water definitely has been muddied and a course of action will have to be put on a back burner until this issue gets cleared up.

Possible for MWC to re-admit Boise & San Diego St because they haven't accepted their replacements yet.

CUSA-lite already has admitted new conference members... so re-admitting Houston, SMU, etc has a problem.

Was the fall of the Big East already foreseen by Stull?? A quote from Stull from the New Mex St. basketball game has some wondering:
We always want to do what is best for the university so as things unfold we'll take a look at everything that's going on. The Big East is not going to be there, I don't know what is happening with them. So we don't really know."
